How to Develop a Fantasy Football League? A Complete Guide

In this article we will discuss here with fantasy football tips today, we're going to show you how to make a fantasy football league. Make sure to hit that subscribe button. I'm posting videos every Tuesday to help you win your league. Right. So the very first step is to go to ESPN. Great, and then you're going to want to come over to this little guy in the right hand corner.  I'm going to go ahead and log in. So once you're logged in, you're going to want to go to the top right corner again and go into the fantasy tab, and you're going to want to come to the football option now to create a new league. You're going to want to come over on this banner and hit sign up.

We come to this screen and now we have two options, you can develop a fantasy software league, and this is for if you have friends and family that are already committed to joining your league or you can just get a team and play in a league with random people from around the world that you don't know. For this example, we're going to create a league. So for the league name, I'm going to put the example league. 

I hope you have something more fun and exciting. You can select the number of teams or people that are going to be playing with you. So if I select 10, that means including myself, there will be 10 people in the league scoring type ESPN standard or non PPR scoring. So normally when you hear standard scoring, it means non PPR. But ESPN has made PPR points per reception. Their standard. I like nonpoor better, so I'm going to go with that. And I'm going to hit start a new league.

Great, so my league has been created, the very next step is I want to invite owners. So it's super easy, all you got to do is plug your friends and family members' email addresses into these spots here, I'm going to plug my own email address in here just to show you the options below. The first option is to send invites to we want to do new owners and owners with changed email addresses. If you want, you can send yourself a copy of the invite for fun. So for the draft order, you have a couple of options. So the league manager, which is you can manually set the order or you can pick that ESPN randomizes the draft order one hour before the draft. 

So I'm going to go ahead and set randomize one hour before the draft and save changes. OK, so what's nice is it already took me to my league settings. If you're ever on a different screen and want to get back to this one, all you got to do is come up to this tab here league and then come down to settings. The three things I want to point out to you are how to adjust your rosters, scoring and playoff bracket. So for rosters. You're just going to hit the roster button right here. I'm going to hit the button.

So you want to come in here if you want to make this a two-quarterback league or increase the number of flex spots, make sure to always save your changes. Next, I'll point out where to adjust your scoring pretty easily, right on the scoring tab, if you wanted changes to a PPR league, just hit edit and come on down to receiving and check this box. And the last thing that I want to point out is the playoff bracket. So I'm going to go over to schedule. I won't save the PR setting. And here it is, playoff bracket, so ESPN's great because they give you a nice visual here
